Maurice A. Kelly

Maurice Kelly is the Director of LMI’s Research Institute. He is responsible for orchestrating all of the Institute’s overall thought leadership initiatives as well as its independent research and development program. An expert in business strategies, disaster recovery planning, and systems development and implementation, Mr. Kelly spent several years with the Computer Information Systems unit at LMI before joining the Research Institute in 2005. He is an intelligence officer in the Navy Reserve, serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia High-Tech Partnership, is a Board member of the Springs for Life Foundation, and is a founder of the Irma Rose Foundation, an organization dedicated to advancing the careers of disadvantaged youth. Mr. Kelly joined LMI in 1999 after serving 4 years in the U.S. Navy and 3 years in the Army National Guard. He holds an MS in information systems management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in management information systems from Norfolk State University.
